Cardio
First Angel can be exposed to sunlight for a limited time.

The Cardio First Angel can be used on anyone aged 16 and over.

The Cardio First Angel is very easy to use. Videos showing its use are available on our website on the “product” page. An instruction manual is supplied with the Cardio First Angel.

The Cardio First Angel incorporates an audible “click” in its mechanism to indicate that the compression force has been reached (5 to 6 cm). Release to decompress until you hear a “click”. The 2 sounds must be heard to perform an effective massage, as recommended by the ERC and the Red Cross.

The Cardio First Angel comes with instructions, and its ease of use is one of its strong points.

The Cardio First Angel should only be used on unconscious, non-breathing people who are not reacting to any stimulation (voice, touch, etc.).

Never use on a conscious person.

In 70% of cases, the accident is witnessed. On average, the fire department or SAMU doctors arrive on site between 7 and 10 minutes after the call. By this stage, if no massage has been given, it’s often too late. So it’s vital to take action until help arrives!

While waiting for help, massage should be applied to the victim. At the end of each decompression, a “click” is heard, indicating that a new compression can be performed, at a rate of 100 to 120 compressions/min.

To avoid irreversible damage, cardiac massage is required IMMEDIATELY after cardiac arrest has been detected and help has been called. Small, practical and close at hand, the Cardio First Angel enables you to perform a perfect massage while waiting for the defibrillator and emergency services to arrive. Automatic defibrillators often require you to perform cardiac massage too.

CFA and defibrillator are therefore complementary.

It is important to ensure that it works when delivered and to inform us within 7 days of delivery. Any damage to the packaging during delivery must be indicated on the delivery note in order to be taken into account.

Article 122-7 of the French penal code specifies that a person cannot be prosecuted if his or her action is proportional to the risk. That’s why we can’t prosecute for assault and battery a person who breaks a rib while performing cardiac massage on a person in cardiorespiratory arrest.

Conversely, it condemns obstruction of assistance measures and failure to render assistance, and in particular wilful failure to assist a person in peril”.

Current legislation does not specify any obligation concerning households, although it is highly advisable to have one in the event of cardiac arrest.

Many cardiac accidents occur in the workplace: the rapid and judicious use of a defibrillator can significantly reduce mortality by enabling prompt cardiac resynchronization. Although it is not compulsory for every company to have a defibrillator in the workplace, in the event of cardiac arrest, the employer may be held liable under his obligation to protect the physical health of his employees. However, in the event of cardiac arrest, the defibrillator is not enough, as massage must be performed. This makes Cardio First Angel a highly recommended addition to resuscitation. The defibrillator also asks the caregiver to massage. Finally, while waiting for the defibrillator to be deployed, massage is essential: every minute counts.
